I will be doing a brief 101 introduction to barcamp and open space technologies. I am also going to make up some new things for our event so be sure you make it to the intro session. Seriously.
Gabe, can I send you some slides and ideas? Yes? OK, I will….
Basic schedule has oodles of great bullet points…. except NO dates. I’m assuming Sat/Sun.
What about a Friday Night something-or-other? Nothing planned this year?
One thing about schedule: If people wind up scattering for lunch, we should be honest and allow 1.5-2 hrs for people to get back.
Mike, good point… we can adjust if needed. Luckily, food options are (literally) across the street.
Whil, fixed to add days. Yup, nothing planned for Friday night except venue set-up… Let me know if you want to join us!
Suggestion: add a link to this blog post:
http://barcampmilwaukee.com/2009/09/the-food-situation/
on this schedule page since this page is linked in the navigation but the food page is not. And/Or, update the “dinner” slots in the schedule to reflect the info on the food page.
Pete– any particular time Friday night? I could maybe drop off a couple of tables, so I don’t have to haul them up there on Saturday morning when everything else is going on.
Ron, we’re still trying to determine an exact time Friday… we’ll post something. Thanks!
R U guys a bunch of geeks r what
Ok, I made a calendar in Gcal and I think this is the URL if I did it right. It is public, but I don’t see the option to let the public edit, so I may have to do that as sessions populate, or I can give others access to edit too (probably smart). Currently it has non-session time blocks set.
