Startupworks, entreprenuers for entreprenuers

So many of you might have an idea that you would like to work on for money, pride, reputation, fun, or as a simple challenge, and your day job just does not give you the time to get anywhere on your startup. For myself, I was curious if I could find a job that let me work part-time on my startup, and at their post-funded startup. So far the plan is working, and I thought that the experience that hi5 networks made availible for me should be opened up to more people, specifically entreprenuers.

hi5.com is the 3rd largest social network in the world, and I have learned way too much there in just 2 months to enumerate here, but I thought it would be good to talk about the idea of a Startupworks website that would help connect entrepreneurs to 24 hour a week jobs. (3days x 8hours).

I figure the site has a lot in common with YC in that it is community focused, and it helps people live and build something that is theirs. Lets talk and see what the next steps are. I also feel the site is self sustainable if we can sell services to the entrepreneurs that make sense like automated billing, and group health insurance.

A few challenges I think we will have are:
* a simple website
* a billing system
* a means to qualify people as entrepreneurs (elevator pitches, decks, business goals, linkedin?)
* a means to sell the idea to larger companies (manpower, GE, abbott, rockwell?)

Google already gives people 8 hours a week to work on side projects, and in the tech world, it just really makes sense because it helps you better build content for others if you are on the other side of the fence every now and then. I figure there are 10,000-50,000 people the site could target, so it could be hosted on a single server, which keeps the tech simple too.
