Agenda for Discussion at Nov. 8 Web 414 Meeting
Following is an agenda for leading the discussion at the Nov. 8 Web 414 Meeting wherein we will be discussing the BarcampMilwaukee2 experience from the participatory perspective.
A: The Educational Experience
1. What did you learn?
Be prepared to discuss something that you didn't know before BarCampMilwaukee 2.
2. What did you wish you had learned?
Be prepared to discuss something that you had hoped someone would lead a session on, but such a session didn't materialize. Evaluate whether your wishlist is something that might make session worth trying to develop a tech-cafe event around during BarCamp's off months.
B: The Social Experience
1. What was awesome; what really worked from the participatory perspective?
Sept 15 Meeting
Today's Barcamp meeting at our all-new. all-virtual Bucketworks West location went fairly well, all things considered. Which is not to say that it went poorly in anyway, it's just, you know, something to consider. I am not alone when I say that I really can't wait for October 13 to get here so we can start taking action on this stuff. Barcamp Milwaukee 2 should be something really great.
There are some things we still need help with, however.
1. First and foremost, we need a bandwidth solution. If you or someone you know can throw us a few bones, we need some kind of high-speed solution piped into 1555 Rivercenter Dr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand we have the lines all worked out so all we need is to connect to the outside and our toobs will be phat, right?
